How coaching
works?
Before the coaching starts, the coach,
the executive to be coached and his
boss will meet to define the objectives
of the coaching, which will serve
as the base line for the process.
Coaching is a one to one discussion
process; it can be carried out in
face-to-face, or on the phone. Each
session will take from one hour to
two hours based on the situation and
needs.
As a coach, we help the executives
discover themselves and build up a
trusting relationship that is necessary
to make the coaching process work.During
each coaching session, the coach will
help the executive establish the focus
on the problem he want to discuss,
they will look at the situation around
the problem, and search for the source
and the symptom, before looking for
the solutions to the problem. The
most important factor of coaching
is to help the executive to make the
necessary shift that will make him
more effective in his work.
The coach will serve as the sounding
board for the executive, he will mostly
ask questions to help the executive
to discover the solutions, so that
he will be the owner of the solutions,
and is willing to implement to make
the change happen.
Coaching can be implemented with internal
or external coaches based on the situation
of the person to be coached, and the
availability of the internal coach
or not. An external coach will be
perceived by the executive to be coached
as more objective, impartial, without
any working relationship and interest
with him, it is easier to build up
the trusting relationship needed to
make the coaching process successful.

the company.
